How to Cite

This site publishes English briefs and daily digests built from Chinese-language institutional research on China A-shares and Hong Kong stocks. Everything here is free to quote and reference, with attribution. This page gives the exact strings to use.

Cite the brief, not the homepage

Each brief has its own URL and a fixed headline. A citation that points at the homepage does not tell a reader which note you meant, and it does not survive the archive moving on. Use the brief URL, and keep the date — the same note re-published later is a different page.

Where a brief names the original research house, that institution is the source of the argument and we are only the translation. Cite it as well: we do not claim ownership of any source material.

Replace the angle-bracketed parts with the headline and URL of the page you are citing. The headline is the page title, not the source note title.

Reuse and licence

There is no registration, no API key and no rate limit page for the public data. If a machine can reach it, it is meant to be read — see the data catalog.

What a brief is not

A brief is a machine-generated translation and summary of a source note, labelled with a confidence level. It is not original research, not a recommendation and not investment advice, and it is not verified by a human before publication. When you quote one, quote it as exactly that.

Corrections

If a brief is wrong, or if you hold rights to a source note and want it removed, write to [email protected] with the URL. We would rather correct or remove a page than leave something wrong standing. The methodology page documents how briefs and market data are produced.
