China's MIIT and three other ministries released a draft notice on October 10 requiring new vehicle models to complete comprehensive reliability, durability, structural reliability, and software functional reliability testing. Existing models must submit supplementary materials by July 1, 2027, or face production halt and recall.
New regulatory requirements are likely to boost auto testing demand, benefiting companies with high auto testing revenue exposure.
