A Chinese broker note details that electronic fabric (electronic cloth) prices have been rising monthly since July 2026, with October 2026 seeing another 1.5 yuan/m increase for mainstream 7628 fabric to just over 13 yuan/m, and further increases expected to around 15 yuan/m by December 2026 and near 16 yuan/m by January 2027. Thin and ultra-thin fabrics are rising even faster, up 2-2.5 yuan/m in October, while electronic yarn (G75) prices jumped 3,000-4,000 yuan/ton to over 26,000 yuan/ton, a historic high.
The broker is bullish on the electronic fabric sector, expecting continued price increases through Q4 2026 and into early 2027, driven by strong demand and supply constraints.
