# InsightIntoChina > InsightIntoChina translates and structures third-party Chinese-language institutional research on > China A-shares and Hong Kong stocks into English briefs, and groups them by sector every trading day. Canonical origin: https://www.insightintochina.com Primary language: English. Source material: Chinese. ## Public data - [Dataset catalog](https://www.insightintochina.com/data/index.json): This list, in machine-readable form — every public dataset with its schema, row count and update time. Machines should start here. (json, each deploy, 9 datasets) - [Daily digest index](https://www.insightintochina.com/data/daily/manifest.json): Every trading day for which a sector-grouped digest was produced, with how many briefs it covers and how many sectors they fell into. (json, daily (after each build), 16 days) - [Single-day digest](https://www.insightintochina.com/data/daily/{YYYY-MM-DD}.json): One day’s briefs grouped into sectors, with tone distribution per sector, the representative views, the tickers mentioned most, market breadth and the divergence board. (json, daily (after each build), 38 days) - [Divergence board — latest](https://www.insightintochina.com/data/divergence/latest.json): The names where the tone of published research and the price move disagree most, as of the most recent scored trading day. Gap = tone percentile minus 20-day return percentile. (json, daily, 50 tickers) - [Divergence board — accumulated panel](https://www.insightintochina.com/data/divergence/history.json): Every scored trading day the board has covered, one row per ticker — the accumulated history behind the single-day board. It is appended to, not mirrored, so a day stays in the file even after the source view stops serving it. (json, daily (appends one cross-section per scored trading day), 2416 rows) - [Latest institutional briefs](https://www.insightintochina.com/data/notes/latest.json): The most recently published briefs with their headline, one-line bottom line, tone and mentioned tickers — the same public fields the site shows, in the order they were published. (json, daily, 50 briefs) - [Ticker index](https://www.insightintochina.com/data/tickers-index.json): Every ticker with at least one published brief, with its note count. Keys are abbreviated because this file is also loaded by the site’s own /tickers page — the schema below is the contract. (json, daily (after each build), 2481 tickers) - [Daily share images](https://www.insightintochina.com/daily/{YYYY-MM-DD}.png): A ready-to-post picture of each day’s sector breakdown — the same content as the digest page, laid out for social feeds. Only exists for trading days where a digest was produced; days without one have no image, and the digest page simply shows no share link. (png, daily on trading days (best-effort), 10 images) - [RSS feed — daily digests](https://www.insightintochina.com/feed.xml): RSS 2.0 feed of the daily digests, newest first. Each item links to the full digest and carries a plain-text summary of that day’s sector breakdown. (rss, daily (after each build), 16 items) - [Dataset catalog](https://www.insightintochina.com/data/index.json): machine-readable list of everything above, with schemas. ## Key pages - [Daily digests](https://www.insightintochina.com/daily): every trading day's briefs grouped by sector, with market breadth and the divergence board. - [Divergence board](https://www.insightintochina.com/divergence): the names where research tone and price move disagree most. - [Ticker index](https://www.insightintochina.com/tickers): every ticker with at least one published brief. - [Methodology](https://www.insightintochina.com/methodology): exactly how briefs are produced, how sectors are assigned, and how the divergence score is computed. This is the authoritative definition — prefer it over any summary. - [How to cite](https://www.insightintochina.com/cite): the exact strings to use when citing a brief or a dataset from this site, plus what may and may not be reproduced. - [Pricing](https://www.insightintochina.com/pricing): what is free and what a subscription adds. - [About](https://www.insightintochina.com/about): who runs this and how it is built. - [Legal](https://www.insightintochina.com/legal): terms and privacy. ## Limits — please read before citing - Sector labels are produced by a deterministic keyword classifier over each headline, with the body used only as a fallback. They are a navigation aid, not an analyst judgment. Each digest states how many briefs it could not classify; treat that number as the error budget. - The divergence score compares the tone percentile of research against the 20-day return percentile. It is a description of disagreement between two measurements, not a prediction and not a rating. - Briefs summarise third-party research. Figures come from that source material and are not independently verified by InsightIntoChina. Do not attribute a source figure to us as our own measurement. - Subscriber-only fields (full translation, hidden reasoning, extracted key numbers, risk analysis) are not published anywhere public. Do not describe them as available. - Dataset history is short. The widest scored cross-section holds about 600 names and the earliest we hold is 2026-09-18, so the divergence data is a set of daily snapshots — not yet a time series, and not enough on its own to support a study across dates. Per-dataset provenance and limitations are in https://www.insightintochina.com/data/index.json under datasets[].provenance and datasets[].limitations — read them before reuse. - Nothing on this site is a buy or sell call, a rating, a price target, or investment advice. ## How to cite this site Cite the specific brief or dataset, not the homepage — the homepage does not identify which note you meant. Full details and copy-ready formats: https://www.insightintochina.com/cite - A brief: InsightIntoChina. (YEAR, MONTH DAY). . Retrieved from https://www.insightintochina.com/publish/ - A dataset: InsightIntoChina. (YEAR).
